Hi everyone. Time has flown by once again and it's time for another project 366 blogpost.
Before I get into that, I just want to let you know that I am 10 followers away from hitting 250 followers on GFC, which I am very excited about. I am planning to do a giveaway when that happens so keep your eyes peeled for that ^-^ Besides that, I have also set up a facebook page for my blog, so I will really appreciate it if you can pop over and click "like" HERE.
Photo time~~
#183 I went to Singapore for a friend's wedding and this is the view from my room at the Fullerton Bay Hotel.
#183.5 Lunch at Pollen restaurant at the Gardens by the Bay. This was a deconstructed English Breakfast dish. The eggs were cooked to a wobbly perfection, with a savoury touch from the crispy bacon and umami from sauteed mushrooms. The tomato sauce added some acidity which makes the dish light but fulfilling at the same time.
#183.75 This was my main. I don't remember the exact name but it's basically grilled lamb chop with a sweet and salty sauce and roasted vegetables. The lamb chops were very juicy and tender, and the sweet and savoury sauce complimented the meat very well. The roasted vegetables added fresh texture and earthy flavour.
#184 I love taking baths while reading magazines. I don't have a tub in the bathroom of my current house so I took full advantage of the tub in the hotel.
#185 Getting ready for breakfast. I was wearing a Miss Selfridge maxi dress.
#186 & 186.5 Sleepy boy.
#187 Makeup look inspired by the Shu Uemura Chocolat Donna campaign image. I reviewed the Shu Uemura Chocolat Donna collection for fall 2012 HERE.
#187.5 Family dinner.
#188 & 188.5 Soft and natural makeup using the Raspberry and Mocha palette in the Shu Uemura Chocolat Donna Collection. LINK
#189 Regular readers of mine should know that I have a great weakness for nice packaging. This was a special edition Twinings tea to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and I adore the tin.
#190 Travel Exclusive Guerlain Meteorites Miniature Pearl Collection that I reviewed HERE. I love using this to finish my makeup because it gives such a gorgeous soft focus look to the skin.
#191 At my father's friend's granddaughter's full moon celebration. Red eggs (boiled eggs dyed with red food coloring) and mung bean glutinous rice cakes are traditional food to be eaten during this celebration.
#192 How cute is the packaging of this dog biscuit? I think it must be very yummy too because my dogs love this biscuit and they are very picky eaters.
#193 Part of my duty free shopping haul from my Singapore trip.
#194 The prize for my blog's first giveaway ready to be shipped~
#195 Hiro's new favourite spot.
#196 I was wearing one of my favourite Revlon Lip Butters in the colour Tutti Frutti.
#197 A lazy concealer and lip balm kinda day.
#198 I was tagged in Instagram to do a "my favourite lipstick brand tag". My choice is obviously Chanel. If you have instagram and you are interested to follow me, my username is lizchewy
#198.5 Dinner at my brother's place and I brought chocolate fondant over as dessert.
#199 & 199.5 Makeup look seen in my Nars Joie de Vivre palette review HERE
#200 My best friend bought me green tea and cream flavoured wafer cookies all the way from Japan. This was summer limited edition and it's so good~~~
#201 My friends are so supportive of my blog. Here are some items that they bought for me to review: Les Merveilleuses by Ladurée Fall 2012 Cream Cheek Base in #101 Vermillion, Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara S in 01 Deep Black, Heavy Rotation Marker Pen Eyeliner in 01 Deep Black and Heavy Rotation Coloring Eyebrow in 03 Ash Brown. #204 Bought my dogs some new toys and the greedy boy was hogging them all.
#205 My Hello Kitty mug.
#206 Homemade brunch. Scrambled eggs with toast and green tea.
#207 A bunny shape mooncake.
#208 Waiting to get my hair done at Number 76style hair salon. I was wearing the Golden Savannah palette and Gold Beige Rouge Serum from the Dior Golden Jungle Collection which I reviewed HERE
#209 Makeup look wearing the Khaki Design palette from the Dior Golden Jungle Collection.
#210 & 210.5 Makeup look as seen in my Holika Holika Love Fantasy Blush review LINK
#211 Scallop sashimi. One of my favorite!!
#212 The two pekes chilling out on the couch.
#213 Getting ready for dinner.
#213.5 My meal: Pulled pork sandwich.
