MAC Archie's Girls Collection Review

MAC Archie's Girls. This collection has been out for so long in certain parts of the world that I think nearly everyone in Beauty-blogland would have read if not reviewed items from this collection.

However, since this collection was JUST released on my shores not too long ago, I decided to review it anyways because I am VERY impressed with most of the items I got.

I have not kept up with MAC collections for a long time because the sheer amount of collections that MAC keeps pumping out makes it absolutely impossible (and somewhat uninteresting). I think it was around this time last year that I reviewed a MAC collection (It was a review on the In Extra Dimension & Tres Cheek Collection- LINK).

The MAC Archie's Girls Collection is a colossal one with lipsticks, lipglasses, eyeliners, pigments, eyeshadow palette, mascara, blush, face powder and nail lacquers inspired by the two main female characters in Archie's Comic- Betty and Veronica. There's also accessories in the form of brush kit, coin purse, mirror, makeup bag and a tote.

Skinfood | Black Egg Pore Primer, Black Egg Pore Foundation & Black Egg Pore Finish Powder Review

Hi everyone! What is your number 1 skin concern? For me, it's definitely my chronically oily skin and my visible-even-on-low-res-camera enlarged pores. I have tried various skin care products that CLAIM to help refine and minimise pores but to be honest, I think those products are more of a psychological thing because I have not found any that actually works.

As a result of my skin type/condition, I naturally gravitate towards pore covering/ mattifying base makeup and avoid anything that has the word luminous or glow in its name like the plague.

One day, when I was browsing in my local Skinfood store, I stumbled across these:
From left: Skinfood Black Egg Pore Foundation in #1 Light Beige, Black Egg Pore Primer & Black Egg Pore Finish Powder.

A range of products that is targeted to conceal enlarged pores and give you boiled egg like smooth skin (plus with super cute food-like packaging)? These went straight into my shopping basket.

Dior Cherie Bow Collection for Spring 2013 Review | Cherie Bow Palette in Powder Pink, 5 Couleurs Cherie Bow in Ballerina Pink, Diorblush Cherie Bow in Pink Happiness & Tender Coral, Dior Addict Lipstick in Charmante, Candide & Espiegle, Dior Vernis in Tutu, Gris Trianon & Rosy Bow

Pink has always been and always will be one of my favourite colours on earth. Hence you can probably guess that I was VERY VERY excited when I spotted the (very pink) Dior Cherie Bow Collection for Spring 2013.

Oh, and I LOVE bows too. You can stick a bow onto almost anything and I will think that it's cute.

The above reason will pretty much explain why this happened.

I went a little crazy and bought the Cherie Bow palette in 001 Powder Pink, the 5 Couleurs Cherie Bow in 724 Ballerina Pink, the Diorblush Cherie Bow in 659 Tender Coral & 729 Pink Happiness, the Dior Addict Lipsticks in 437 Charmante, 457 Candide, 687 Espiegle and the Dior Vernis in 155 Tutu, 306 Gris Trianon & 355 Rosy Bow.
