Revlon lip butters (025 Peach Parfait, 080 Strawberry Shortcake, 096 Macaroon, 075 Lollipop, 070 Cherry Tart, 085 Sugar Plum, 020 Brown Sugar & 030 Fig Jam) review

Hello everyone. I am sure anyone of you who follows beauty blogs or beauty youtubers or just have been out and about lately would have undoubtedly heard of this product I am about to review for you today. Yeap, I am talking about the Revlon lip butters. These have been out in the states for months now and as usual, it just freshly landed on my shore.

Malaysia is supposed to get the Revlon lip butters in store in March 2012 but Watsons and Guardian pharmacy already have them in store the last time I checked (I went to a few just to be sure). Malaysia and Singapore only have a limited range of colours available, at the moment it's only 8 out of the 20 available shades (what a shame >__<) and these lip butters are priced at RM24.90 each.

From left to right: 025 Peach Parfait, 080 Strawberry Shortcake, 096 Macaroon (UK exclusive shade), 075 Lollipop, 070 Cherry Tart, 085 Sugar Plum, 020 Brown Sugar and 030 Fig Jam.

Let's take a closer look at the lip butters.

Project 366: The beginning

Hi everyone. This is my attempt to document something from everyday of my life from February 16th 2012 for a year.

You might be wondering why did I suddenly decide to start doing this on such a random day. The story goes: You should know that my favourite number combination is 1268. Why?

Firstly, I was born on the 6th of December 1988.
Secondly, two of my brothers were born on the 16th of February. Yeah, they were born on the same day in different years.
Thirdly, my puppies were born on the 28th of January.
Forthly, my grandmother passed away on the 12th of June (this might be really sad but this is my only association with her because I have never met her)

So when I saw this on the 16th of February 2012, I was convinced that the world is trying to send me a message.

And I was determined to do something to document this day when it happened again. Mind you, I wasn't looking at my phone all the time, I chanced upon them, twice in one day.

There's the end of the story, and here's week 1.

Delicious reminiscence

I miss Melbourne. I miss the people, the erratic weather, the streets lingering with so much culture and personality, my old apartment, the freedom, the life I once had, the food...

I REALLY DO MISS THE FOOD.

I am lucky to be living in Malaysia now, and we do have lots of delicious cuisines from different countries and culture. But for one, our Cafes here do not even come close to the ones in Melbourne, period.

This was definitely one of my favourite Cafes in Melbourne, and I always thought the name to be really cute. THREE BAGS FULL, isn't it such a cute name?

I actually didn't even need to look at the menu because I always order the same thing every time I go.

Sorta Chinese New Year Blogpost

Hi everyone. Today is the 10th day of the Lunar New Year (a.k.a. Chinese New Year. I think Koreans celebrate the Lunar New Year too but I am not entirely sure) so I hope it's not too late to wish you all. Happy Lunar New Year and have an amazing year of the Dragon.

I originally wanted to dedicate a post to Chinese New Year tradition but it's really nothing very exciting, for my family at least. We just dress up and sit around, eat, entertain guests, eat, visit family, eat... You get the idea.

Instead I decided to show you guys something I anticipate most each year: decorations. Shopping malls are generally very festive during the Chinese New Year period and I am going to show you guys my absolute favourite (and the one I deemed the most blog-worthy). This post was kinda impromptu, I was browsing through photos on my phone and thought it might be interesting.

Tadahhhhh~~~ This was in Pavillion Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur. To be honest I kinda went there just to see the decorations because everyone was raving about how great it was. And it was truly majestic.
