Makeup is my "Happy Fuel". Putting on makeup in the morning and taking off my makeup when I get home have to be some of my favourite moments of the day. When I am feeling stressed or defeated, beauty blogs and videos can always perk my day up. Not to mention it always give me something to look forward to as I add new things onto my "Things-to-check-out-the-next-time-I-go-shopping List".
Featured below are some products that I love and will be very sad without, as well as some that just make my beauty routine that much more delightful.
P/s. I did not feature every product category because
this post will be never-ending if I did that. I think everyone who loves beauty products have one or a few types of beauty items that they are especially obsessed with. Here are some makeup treats that I can't get enough of!!
MY UTMOST LOVE: FOUNDATION & PALETTE
I have enough foundations and makeup palettes to last me for.. well, let's just say a very long time. Yet, every time I walk into makeup store, I make a beeline for them and more often than not, I walk out with something new. My justification? Foundation is an essential that I NEED everyday. Makeup palettes are not only pretty to look at but they are also super practical because all the colours that you can possibly need are all in the same place (who has time to dig through single shadows to put together a look when they get ready in the morning? Definitely not me).

Beauty Treats (Skincare, Beauty Tools, Fragrance) | January 2014
Hi everyone. This is my first blog post in 2014 and I have decided to do something different.
I wanted to do this post at the end of December when I was on holiday in Bali. I even brought my laptop and my notes with me but long story short: between relaxing by the pool reading a book, exploring the streets of Kuta and Seminyak and being sick (yeap… I got a stomach flu during the trip), the post didn't happen.
And now we are 2 weeks into 2014??!
Anyways, I wanted to do this post to celebrate the new year. To me, a new year is a magical moment. If the previous year was not so good, you can close that chapter in your life and look forward to the chances for a better year. If your previous year was awesome, you can start the year with great hope and motivation to strive for more in the year to come. If you celebrate Lunar New Year, hopefully you will find my ideas helpful to prep for the festivities and celebrations to come.
As the typical girly girl that I am, no matter what I am doing, I have to look good doing it. That is why I have put together some ideas of beauty products that you can add to your beauty routine so that you can pretty yourself up while you take on the world. (*I am not a beauty expert but I am definitely an enthusiast*)
Here we go!
SKINCARE
Skincare is a very tricky thing to recommend because everyone's skin is different. The items that I have included should generally suit most skin types but I am more so recommending the product type instead of the specific item.

*Sponsored* Circle Lens | EOS V-Check 2 Tone Brown Review
I think everyone has that one (or a few) things that they can never have too many of. Be it shoes, t-shirts, makeup, handbags, mugs, candles, soft toys… The list can go on and on. One of the things that I can never have too many of are brown circle lenses.
In my circle-lens-wearing time, I have tried many different styles and sizes of circles lenses. Anything from the super-natural-barely-noticeable to the doll-like-opaque-color-changing ones. From that, I have came to know one thing: brown and grey lenses are ones that suit me best.
So, when loveshoppingholics contacted me and asked if I would like to try some circle lenses from them, I obviously said yes.
And the lenses that I got are the:
EOS V-CHECK 2 TONE BROWN
Kinda boring. I know. But I know lenses like these are what I will get a lot of wear out of.
P/s. I have to commend loveshoppingholics for their very fast shipping. The package got to me a mere few days after they contacted me *thumbs up*

Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Review | 01 Curviest Caramel & 04 Heftiest Hibiscus
Jumbo crayon/ pencil type lip products seem to be everywhere at the moment. I recently picked up a few new ones to try "for review purposes" and the first ones in the lineup are the Clinique Chubby Stick Intense.
I reviewed the regular Clinique Chubby Sticks a while ago (Clinique Chubby Stick Review) and I quite like those. However, I am LOVING the Clinique Chubby Stick Intense.
The Clinique Chubby Stick Intense is available in 8 colors:

Surprise surprise. After swatching all 10 colors at the Clinique counter and after a very very long deliberation, I bought the nude-ish color (01 Curviest Caramel) and the orangey color (04 Heftiest Hibiscus).

Majolica Majorca | 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Little Humming Book 1 Review
Majolica Majorca: A brand that I love for their amazing mascaras that can hold a curl on my stick-straight-curl-defying lashes as well being very smudge resistant on my oily mono lids. I had no idea that this brand has been in existence for 10 years until I stumbled upon the Little Humming Book 1 palette when I was wandering idly in a pharmacy/ drugstore.
The Little Humming Book 1 is the first of several limited edition palettes that were released in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the brand. Visit the official Majolica Majorca website if you want to find out more~
