I reviewed the regular Clinique Chubby Sticks a while ago (Clinique Chubby Stick Review) and I quite like those. However, I am LOVING the Clinique Chubby Stick Intense.

Surprise surprise. After swatching all 10 colors at the Clinique counter and after a very very long deliberation, I bought the nude-ish color (01 Curviest Caramel) and the orangey color (04 Heftiest Hibiscus).
On the left: 01 Curviest Caramel. On the right: 04 Heftiest Hibiscus.
01 Curviest Caramel is a brownish dusky rosy nude and 04 Heftiest Hibiscus is a orange-tone red.
Clinique describes the Chubby Stick Intense as "a soft cushion of color that's not quite sheer, not quite opaque- just the perfect happy medium" (source). However, I think that the Chubby Stick Intense are indeed opaque and pigmented, with just a hint of translucency. Unlike the regular Chubby Sticks that give out a hint of color, the Chubby Stick Intense have color payoff that is true to what you see.
In terms of formula, I find it (strangely) to be much more moisturizing than the regular chubby stick. The formula is very creamy and smooth so it glides onto the lips very evenly without emphasizing lip lines or dryness. The texture is not too heavy and it feels very comfortable on the lips. When I wear the regular Chubby Sticks, my lips tend to feel dehydrated after a few hours but I don't experience that with the Chubby Stick Intense. In addition, the slightly glossy look made my lips look nice and plumped up.
The Chubby Stick Intense is a twist-up crayon/ jumbo pencil so it is less fussy and doesn't cause product wastage since it doesn't require any sharpening. Another thing, the Chubby Stick Intense has no obvious scent.
The Chubby Stick Intense also have better lasting power than the regular formula. These last about 4 hours on me (without eating but with occasional drinks), which is what I typically get with a more opaque/ creamy lipstick formula.

My recent favorite lip look: 01 Curviest Caramel Chubby Stick Intense all over the lips, with 04 Heftiest Hibiscus Chubby Stick Intense applied in the middle portion of the lips and blended out.
