Proud Mary Brunch

Hi dearies!! Sorry I haven't posted anything in so long. I am currently in the process of moving (countries) and the amount of work that cleaning and packing requires have sucked up every little bit of my time to the point that I don't even get to sleep.


But I took a break from the tedious chores one lovely afternoon and went out to have brunch with a few of my girl friends (I am certainly not a morning person at all and thus more often than not I only have one meal a day at dinner time). But I would set my alarm and wake up early for the amazing coffee and delicious food in lovely little cafes like this one anytime. 


I brought a little friend with me~~
"What should I order??"
"I know I know!! I have decided~~"


"MY FAVOURITE!! Soy Chai Latte~~~~ ♥"


"This Avocado and roasted tomatoes on toast looks yummy!! Can I have some??"
"No. That is not our food."


"Potatoes hash with bacon and spinach~~"
"Can I eat this??"
"Nope. You didn't order it"

REVIEW: This cafe is called Proud Mary located in Collingwood in Australia and it is definitely one of the highly talked-about breakfast places around the city. Be prepared to wait for a table as there is always a little queue at the door. The place is most famous for it's specialty coffee, which I didn't order because my plan was to go home and take a nap after brunch (I know.. my body clock is completely non-existent). But I can assure you the coffee connoisseurs have highly recommended the specialty brews here~~~

All in all I had a pleasant dining experience, despite being sat at a slightly squeezy table. The soy chai latte there was excellent, creamy soy milk with the perfect spiciness and chai and just a slight sweetness from a dash of honey. The pork belly sandwich I had was pretty good. The meat was very well-cooked (incredibly succulent and tender) but it was just ever so slightly under-seasoned. I heard that the hash with bacon and spinach was excellent but I couldn't speak for myself because I didn't get to try it.

    I shall introduce you guys to my other little friends soon~~ There are lots of little cafes like this in Melbourne so if you guys travel to Melbourne you definitely need to explore!!

    I had the most hectic weekend ever since I just moved back to Malaysia. I hope to be able to travel again soon since I am not loving the hot and humid weather.
